Welcome to WebSURF

WebSURF is a University of Glasgow web site allowing students and staff to view and update central student records. WebSURF can be accessed at any time, from any internet-enabled computer, on or off campus.

Students must use WebSURF to confirm their intention to register before the start of the session and provisionally choose courses where permitted. They can continue to use WebSURF to check and update their records all year round. Exam results are available in WebSURF as soon as they are published. Students needing help with the system can contact the helpdesk at: surfhelp@gla.ac.uk

Academic Year 2009/10 Session Dates: The University has changed the structure of the academic year. Full details of what to expect from 2009/10 onwards are online at the Registry web site. Details here.

JEM at the Careers ServiceVisit the Careers Service web site to access jobs and events relevant to all students and graduates, from day one of your course and beyond!

University staff can view student records past and present and update details of current students where appropriate. Advisers of studies use WebSURF to advise students and Registry staff to register students. Other staff can update records in their own faculty, as required. Staff need to fill in an application form to gain access to the system. Staff needing help with the system can contact the staff helpdesk at: mishelp@mis.gla.ac.uk

Helpdesk hours: University helpdesks are open from 9am until 5pm, Monday to Friday. Messages sent to the helpdesks outwith normal support hours will be dealt with as soon as the helpdesks re-open. The University endeavours to keep services available outwith these hours.
